Sustainability with clear expectations

Customers increasingly ask how packaging can be lighter, recyclable, or better labeled for disposal. We discuss material options honestly—recyclability and compostability depend on coatings, inks, adhesives, and local programs.

We do not claim that all custom packaging is universally eco-friendly. Custom manufacturing inherently uses materials and energy. What we can do is help you choose structures that align with your brand's stated goals and regulatory context—then document those choices so your team can communicate accurately to customers.

Common material conversations

  • Uncoated or lightly coated kraft board for a natural look—confirm recycling rules in your primary markets before making on-pack claims.
  • Right-sizing cartons and mailers to reduce void fill and dimensional weight, which can lower transit impacts and carrier surcharges.
  • Paperboard cartons versus multi-layer flexible films—films offer barrier properties but often require specialized disposal streams.
  • Water-based or low-VOC coatings when compatible with your print and food-contact requirements.

What we will not do

We will not print unverified certifications, carbon-neutral badges, or broad "100% sustainable" statements without documentation you provide and approve. Certifications on this demo site remain: Certifications will be listed when verified.

Next steps

Share your compliance checklist, retailer requirements, and any consumer-facing language you want to support. We will map feasible board, film, and finish combinations and note where third-party testing or legal review is appropriate.
